LAWN AERATION
At Bonin’s Lawn Service, we know aeration is an important part of a lawn's long-term survival. Lawns cannot live without air, water and nutrients. Aerating can help to rejuvenate a lawn by restoring passageways to the soil. Aeration involves putting a series of small holes in a lawn with a coring machine. Aeration can be done at any time during the year because of the varied and generous results. We can maximize aeration by preparing the ground with a thorough watering. Aeration can be done once in the spring to help with fertilizing and to help hold water. It can also be done again during the fall to drain water past the surface and keep fungus from gaining a hold. The average property owner does well to aerate at least once per year, and in dry areas, many are sure to aerate twice per year.
